Can I set dependant field types based on a ticket type?

Say I have a ticket Type of Adult and Child.

I can do this with a drop down option "per registrant" that adjusts price (fee field) and then I can use the same field to make extra fields appear (e.g. Date of Birth).

Can I do similar with ticket types? I want the benefits of ticket types but to be able to ask for extra info if ticket type Child is selected.

Hi Calum

Unfortunately, it is not possible. Right now, a custom field can only depends on another custom field, not ticket types. Honestly, this kind of feature, I am afraid of quite difficult to implement
