Does the event description have a text limit?

I am using Event booking 2.8.1, and Joomla 3.4.8.

Is there a limit on the description text in the events? I have inserted a new paragraph of text into the event and it when I save it it chops off a big chunk of the text at the end.

Is there somewhere in the component that I can change the text limit?

Hi Anna

You are using a very outdated version of the extension, so I don't remember correctly. You should use latest version if it is possible

To solve the issue, I think you can look at your site database via PHPMyadmin, find the #__eb_events table, change the data type of short_description and description fields to LONGTEXT data type and it might solve the issue
