mod_eb_events horizontal layout broken

I'm trying to move the module from the right side of my template to under the content (main content area).
When I move the module, something within the horizontal layout is causing all of the modules in my right sidebar to push down below all the content. It would appear to be a broken html tag in the tmpl, but I'm not seeing any errors with it. See examples attached.
