Sending Test Mail/Invoice/Ticket? was created by Reiner Nippes
Hi,
is there a possibility to send the test/preview emails/invoices/tickets?
I would like to check the layout of the emails/invoices/tickets without doing a registration.
Greetings,
Reiner

I would always recommend setting up a test email account on Gmail or similar and installing Windows Live Mail or similar as a local email client. That way you can set up a new registration and see exactly what the user will get from you both in a webmail environment and en email client environment. It also confirms 100% that your server is sending out into the "real" world. It's much more accurate and reliable even if it is a bit more work. At least you can rest in comfort in the knowledge that you have seen exactly what the client is going to get.

Hi Reiner
I am sorry but at the moment, we don't have this function available. So maybe you can publish a test payment plugin and use test mode for processing the registration to check the result.
You can publish os_authnet payment plugin, set it to Test Mode:
1. For API Login parameter, use 2Sht9m67PD
2. For Transaction Key parameter, use 35J2rq5d6LtJ2Yg6
When you register for the event and make payment, you can use test credit card number 4111111111111111
Please try and let me know if it works

Hi,
I'm doing an initial setup of our webpage with event booking. And we use a quite complex html/css layout of our mails/invoices/tickets. And I'm only a part time web admin. html and css are not mother language.
So it's quite a bit of work to check all mails. One has to register, pay, put one self on a waiting list, cancel a registration, do all of this for groups and here I'm still not sure if I got now all mails.
In my eyes a "Send all Mail" button would be a perfect help to set up event booking for the first time. It should be either next to each mail editor or at the top/bottom of each mail editor page.
Could you take it as feature request for an upcoming release?
And thanks for the test credit card. Could you also provide me with the other card details (name, date and cvc)?
cu.
