Payment, different method selection and fee was created by Olaf Rietzschel
I'm using the Mollie payment plugin. When a customer does his payment the processing fee is added. Then he will be redirected to Mollie and will choose which payment (iDeal/Creditcard/Sofort/Etc.)
But. The processing fees are different for every payment selection. Now i have 0.35 fee and 4,5% for Paypal. But the customer is paying 4,5% to much when he is selecting iDeal payment in Mollie.
Omnipay, i believe, has the option to redirect directly to the specific payment. That way i can copy the payment plugin and use different processing fees.
Please advise

i've added a field in the os_ideal.xml file (<field name="mollie_method"... ).
In PurchaseRequest.php (omnipay/mollie/src/Message) i can add the data method ($data = $mollieMethod; )
If i put $mollieMethod = 'ideal'; it does work.
But I cannot figure out (at this moment) how to get the xml param in the getData() function
Something like (?!?)
$mollieMethod = (float) $params->get('mollie_method');

Ok, i've found the solution. I had to set and get the parameter in the AbstractRequest.php file (in the library), set the xml field option in the payment plugin xml file. get and put the value in the payment plugin php file. And add the data in PurchaseRequest.php.
Now i can copy the files, rename them and add them as a seperate payment option to the payment plugins. And offcourse give every payment solution the right fee.
It is a hack sadly, maybe you can implement the solution in the core? (or a similar function).
ps. i've mailed Tuan 1,5 week ago for another matter but got no response yet

Hi Olaf
Please use your customization for now as so far, I haven't heard any other customers request for something like this yet (and I guess, depends on number of the banks, you would need to create difference instances of the plugins)
For the other matter which you mentioned, I am afraid of I missed your email (it would be strange if I don't reply to support request in 2 days - I usually work on it every day)
So for this issue, better, please submit a support ticket so that I can check and reply you
Regards,
Tuan

Hey Tuan,
Clear and it is ok, it does work, but.... i would appreciate some help with the webhookUrl. It seems that this doesn't work. When the payment is cancelled it shows the complete page (returnUrl).
Without my modifications it gives a payment error page, so it does work there i believe. Maybe you can find a quicker solution (or workaround) for the webhookURL).
So the webhookurl is working with completed payments but the cancel button has this strange behavior.
I will post the other case seperate tomorrow (and will update it before)

Hi Olaf
A quick modification would be looking at the code of the registration complete page (components/com_eventbooking/view/complete/html.php)
Search for os_ideal on that file. We have an ugly code there, checking if payment method is os_ideal and the published still 0, we will redirect users back to registration failure page
Maybe that same logic can be used for this case. I know it is not nice, but honestly, I haven't had time to look more at it yet

Ah, that explains why the original plugin got the failure and the copied (renamed) not. It's not the best solution but it does the trick  .
Maybe i will look at a official webhook solution later, for now this is ok
Tnx

Yes, I am not happy with that code, too. But it could be a solution for now. Will try to find a better way to handle it when I have more time

Hi there,
Is there any progress in the making of the Mollie plugin to have the ability to insert different fees?
I've read an article about the same issue:
translate.google.com/translate?hl=nl&sl=...1105-eshop-en-mollie
So, I'm not the only one searching for a solution for this and hoping if you could help me out with this please?

Hi Gabriel
I am sorry but I still haven't had time to look at and support this option yet. @Olaf : Any chance of sharing the copied plugins which you made?
