Very Disappointed with 3.0 released

Very Disappointed with this released, in todays social network world where sharing and aesthetics helps boost brand, I'm very disappointed with the look and feel of version 3.0, I think you need a new Graphic Designer with Good CSS skills and taste.

1. Same ugly calendar view that doesn't match the template.(main Calendar and Module)
2. Upcoming Events Module, new horizontal layout no column seporator so everything looks jumbled
3. Same ugly Web 1.0 style sharing buttons
4. When sharing to Facebook still can’t share event date and time?
5. Event details view still stuck in tables, so the mobile view is horizontal instead of Stacked.
6. Timeline layout no improvement.

I’m just going to stop here.

I am sorry to hear that. I must be honest that I am not good with design at all and at this time, I still focus on improving the features of the products, the design part, I haven't spent much time on it.

The layout of the extension, at this state, just is enough for usage. If you have ideas/suggestions/sample, please help suggesting it so that we can look at it and continue improving it in the future

Hi! I have an idea. Just publish here the location of all the template files, describe how the product template works, and you will see great results from this very community. I can help, but it is not clear where all the parts of the template are. Can´t find any css file, etc.

Actually, we don't have much layout files in Events Booking. Most of them are located in components/com_eventbooking/view/common/tmpl folder

The layout for event details page is inside components/com_eventbooking/view/event/tmpl folder

Honestly, we mainly rely on twitter bootstrap css (mean replying on template) for the appearance of the extensions. If anyone has idea for better layout (for example, give us sample layout for calendar, categories, events list, event details page...) I would happy to look at it and implement as an additional theme for the extension

Keep in mind that we are having quite large users base, so the change must be in backward compatible manner so that it won't break existing websites, so a new theme would be needed if we add support for additional layout

they already tried something but not really visible - removed some lines here and there but the "look" is the same just "better" maybe you can talk to them to have this for all not just me and cooperate with them on general look?

@Drahy OK. Give me few days to work on it. The frontend event submission form still use table layout at the moment (sorry), I am working to update it to have tabless layout. Will update you when it is done
