Event Registration Requires Approval

Hello again.
Thank you for all that you do.
I searched the forum and was not able to locate any discussions.
Can I create an event available to the public, which if their registration is approved, then they can pay for the event?
Similar to the Waiting List.
I can utilize the Waiting List option, but I'd like to set the max registration field to something more than 1.

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported. We don't have a way to allow users to register, then waiting for admin to approve before making payment

Using Waiting List is not an option, too. The reason is because currently, we also don't have a way to allow waiting list users to make online payment, too
