quantity does not decrease was created by Mark Govaerts
Hi,
i made simple test form with a quantity field with the options "keuze1" or "keuze2". the value for each option is set to 2
As i understand it when 2 people choose option "keuze1" the value should be decreased to 0. But nothing happens. the value is still 2 ???
I have followed the instructions as described on eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...ustom-field-quantity
Any ideas? Am i missing something?
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi Mark
The question is what payment method you are using for booking:
1. If you use offline payment method, then quantity should be de-creased immediately
2. If you use online payment method such as PayPal, you need to make payment before quantity is decreased (the status of the registration record needs to be Paid)
Also, please note that this feature only works with Individual / Group registration. It doesn't work with shopping cart, so please go to Events Booking -> Configuration, make sure you set Activate Shopping Cart config option to No
Regards,
Tuan

Hello Mark
In this case, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and the link to the registration form
Tell us name/id of the field you want us to check. We will check to see why it is not being decreased and let you know the reason
One thing is that you should try to register for the event using a normal registered account as we don't check quantity for super users

Hi Tuan,
"One thing is that you should try to register for the event using a normal registered account as we don't check quantity for super users"
Does this mean it only works on registered accounts? And not for visitors?
Regars,
Mark

It works for visitors. It just doesn't work for super admin account only (as we bypass quantity check for super admin)
