Hi,
Situation:
Event registration: $1,000.00
Deposit: 33.33% = $333.30
Payment method: on-line (Authorize.net Dev test account)
Payment processing fee: 3.5%
When remainder payment is done on-line, it should be
Remainder ("due") amount: $666.70
Payment processing fee: $23.33
Total payable: $690.03
Indeed, this is the amount which Authorise.net correctly confirms in their email receipt.
EB's confirmation email*** puts as [AMOUNT] wrongly $678.36
To save you doing the math, this wrong [AMOUNT] happens to be the equivalent of $666.70 plus 3.5% of $333.30 !
Fix please. Thank you.
*** In the backend it's named "Deposit payment user email body" = 4th from the top. Of course, it is for the remainder payment and not for the deposit...

Guess it happens when I worked on fixing payment processing fee recently. I will have to review it again to fix it. Will try to work on it tonight my time

Check your email to get the updated version, replace the [AMOUNT] tag in the message with [PAYMENT_AMOUNT] and it should work OK

Tuan - will this also work for the issue I found back in March whereby I have a custom field setup which if selected applies a discount to the event. In my specific case this discount actually makes the charge free (event price £5, discount £5). In the confirmation email, despite the amount charged is zero it shows as £5.
In the ticket I raised you told me the only way of changing this so that the customer was not confused was to remove the section which says Price And Sub-Total.
It would be great if this will fix this, my client will be happy.
Please confirm and let me know how to obtain the version with this PAYMENT_AMOUNT field available.
