Move registrant to new event

I often need to postpone events and move customer to a different one. In admin i can change the event from the one they registered originally to the one they want to move to but they do not get any email notification of the new date, is there a way to auto send email notification?

Hello Steve

After you changed the event, on Registrants Management screen, select that registration record, click Resend email button in the toolbar

The system will re-send confirmation email to registrant so that they know about it
