Hello
Is there a way to have Package Deals for events?
My client needs to have one class for $20 and $75 for 5 classes. How can we achieve this?
Thank you
Cooch

Are the classes bookable all from 1 event (using a custom field(s) to select the number of classes), or would this be 5 different events (with or without the shopping cart feature enabled)?
If 5 different events, you could use a coupon code for "$25 off your 5th class", but there would be no way to enforce that this coupon was only applied once unless there is a way to apply a code to the cart at checkout (I don't use the cart... but I'm pretty sure that coupons can only be used when registering for an event and not at the cart/checkout level. Please correct me if I'm wrong! Or submit a feature request for Cart Coupons if I'm right. )
If it is from 1 event, you could set up custom fee fields for "number of classes" that charges $20 for classes 1, 2 3 and 4, and only $25 for class 5.

Using custom field option which James described should be the simplest way. There is a not-documented feature yet called Discount Bundles.
You can login to backend of your site, then access to Setup -> Discount Bundles, create a discount bundle rule, select these 5 events, and give 25$ discount
If you do that, when people register for 5 events ,( they need to login while registering), they will receive 25$ discount if they register for all these 5 events (guess you should use shopping cart if you need this feature)
Please try to setup and let us know if it works.

Can this be made more flexible? Assigning a discount bundle based on two or more specific events is nice, however it should be able to be dynamic as well. For example, Discount Bundle 1: Any two events from Category 1 including subcategories, valid from Sept 1 to Sept 30, Bundle 2: 1 event from category 1 and 1 event from category 2, no expiration.
The option to select categories as the filter or specific events would make this a very useful feature.
Thank you

Hi Niall
Honestly, it is too complicated and I must be honest that I could not implement something like that in any near future

Tuan
