No Registration Confirmation email sent

Hi I have been testing out a booking / payment with eb 2.14.5 joomla 3.7.1
All confirmation emails (registrant and admin) are triggered when using the offline payment.

When i try making payment with PAYPAL there is NO email sent to the registrant - but the admin email is sent OK.

I tried first with default paypal settings then tried again with IPN enabled and Auto-Return = On, however this has not made any difference and no registrant email is triggered / sent- I have checked Spam too!

The paypal payment email is sent ok and the registrant list is updated and shows paid

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ok solved it - i had the email field set in the "Both Group Member and Individual Billing form" which triggered the registrant email ok (group and individual) with OFFLINE payment however when paypal was enabled it didnt trigger registrant email to group bookings. I therefore changed the email field to "Both Individual and Group registration billing" and now the email sends fine.

:( Annoyingly however the email address no longer shows in the Registrant list in the backend nor on the XLSX export - even when email field is set to "Show in Registrants = Yes"

Situation is this
Group booking > enter 2 children > enter childrens names etc (neither have an email address) > billing section > enter parent name and email address > pay with paypal

How can i show the email for the parent in the Registrant list in the backend and on the XLSX export when making a group booking and trigger the email on payment???

No way as it seems email is not being collected for group members? In this case, If you want to show it in registrants management, you need to set Display In of email field to All
