PayPal Payment Gateway was created by Ahmed Karam
How can we split the payment for a percentage to be retained for the booking on the website and the balance paid to the host of the event? Is this possible with your app, or is this something we need to discuss with Paypal?
So for example;
To register for the event you pay $100, 15% percent of that will go to the website owner and 85% will go to the event host. How do we arrange for this using PayPal? Will PayPal split the payment and deposit it into 2 separate accounts?

Hello Ahmed
No, it is not possible. PayPal Payment Standard doesn't have a way to split a payment into two smaller transactions. So basically, it is not possible to do that
The only way is you, as administrator, receive full payment. Then pay back to event organizer manually for some reasons
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan,
Thank you for your reply.
PayPal does have this feature, it's Chained Payments under the Adaptive Payments solution from PayPal. But I'm not sure if your PayPal plugin works with this. Can you please check this at the following link and let me know if your plugin will work with this.
