cancel and refund

Is it possible if they pay by credit card and they cancel before the cancellation deadline that the payment plugin can have the option to refund the payment automatically?

At the moment, this feature is not supported yet. I will consider adding support for it in version 3.x.x (starting the development of version 3.0.0 at the moment)

However, that won't be possible with all payment gateway. It would only possible for credit card base payment gateway like Stripe, Authorize.net, PayPal Pro... PayPal payment plugin for example, won't support this because they won't have an API to allow refunding a transaction
