Can your extension do this.... was created by Justin Mooney
Hey There,
I am using your event booking joomla add-on for our camp. It works great for our weekly camps but our weekend camps are a bit different. For a weekend camp, if you register as an individual, the cost is $70 for early registration and $95 for late registration. However, if you register as a family with 2 or more people, the camp is $115 for early registratoin and $165 for late registration, regardless of how many family members you register.
The only way I have been able to figure this out with your extension is to create 2 events, one for individual and one for family. Is there a way to to this all in one event? I don't like that there are 2 events on the calendar for the same event.
Let me know. Thanks.
Justin

Mark this as a +1 on my request from 2 years ago for separate Individual and Group early-bird rates!
The only way to do it at present is to manually manage a custom fee field, applied against either Individual -or- Group Billing, set to add or remove the difference between the Individual and Group amounts. You will have to manually enable or disable (depending on whether you were adding or subtracting the difference) this field at the early-bird cut-off date. This, however, will result in an incorrect price being shown in the event properties for either the individual or group price, so you'll have to clarify pricing details in the event's [Price Text] override text your in the event description instead.

Hello Justin
Unfortunately, right now, we don't have an easy way to setup it in same event. So yes, set up it as two separate events would be the only way for now.
If you want to create only one event, you will have to change the price manually after the early bird date. Basically:
1. For now, set Individual Price to 70$. Then in the advanced settings tab, set Fixed Group Price to 115
2. Then when the date which you want to change price come, set Individual Price to 95 and set Fixed Group Price to 165
As I said, you will need to change the price manually in this case. Early bird discount settings in the event could not be used

I should have said "The only way to do this at present in combination with the Early-Bird discount feature...". Of course, not using early-bird and manually changing rates as @Tuan suggested works too, and is simpler overall. Include early-bird deadline details in your event description in this case.

Yes. You should include early-bird deadline details in your event description so that users know about it as James suggested

If we were to rework our fees, is it possible to put in a fee field that increases the registration amount by a percentage, not just a dollar amount?
Do the fee fields support a % increase?

Unfortunately, right now, it is not supported. Saying about the fee, what's the exact fee will be used to calculate the percent? Could you give me exactly example so that I can think more about it?
