Custom Fields Aren't Populating on Emails was created by Justin Mooney
Hey. I am not sure if this is asked anywhere, I couldn't really find it. But I have a bunch of custom fields for my registrations. When I go into an email template and specify one of the fields (ie. [ALTERNATE_PHONE] it doesn't show the value I entered but it just shows the tag name [ALTERNATE_PHONE]. Is there something special I have to do to make this field show up and be populated in the email?

I am currently on the latest version of the Event Booking extension.

Hello Justin

Overall, the syntax is [NAME_OF_FIELD_IN_UPPERCASE] . So your syntax look correct to me. What registration method you are using ? Individual / Group or shopping cart? If you use group registration, make sure the field is available in Billing Information step and it should be available in email
