Events not showing number of registered users was created by Rachael Jaffe
Hello.

Our client had a previous version of Events Booking. With that previous version, she was able to show how many spots were overall available for an event as well as how many people have already registered for the event on the home page where she has her events listed by date. So each event showed the name, date, number of spots possible, and the number of spots already taken.

I'm trying to get the number of places available and the number of registered users to appear on my site. Thebh.com

I have three fields set to yes in configuration:
Show Event Capacity = Yes
Show number registered users = Yes
Show available places = Yes

Any help on this would be great.

Regards,
Rachael

Hi Rachael

That setting looks correct to me, so I don't understand why these information are not being shown. Could you please send me the link to the page your events are being displayed so that I can take a quick look?

Hi Tuan.

The events appear on the home page of thebh.com off to the right hand site. It's called "Future Classes" I seem to be seeing it fine. I guess there was an older version of this extension that allowed the number of spots total and the number still available right there in that little box under each event.

Let me know if you still can't find it.

Rachael

Hello Rachael

The extension only show these information on events detail page, not on the upcoming events module. So try to click on an event from the module to see event details and you will see the information displayed

Hi Tuan,

So has the functionality of the upcoming events been modified since November of 2016? Here is a snapshot from that time, check out all the details that are appearing on that module.

web.archive.org/web/20161103053140/thebh.com

Now we just had this site redone, and it's possible there is some other module we were using before that we aren't using now. If you think that's the case, just let me know.

Thanks
Rachael

Yes. Some customization must be made on your site to allow that information being shown in the module

If you still keep your old site, maybe you can still have the code located in modules/mod_eb_events from your old site (or look at html folder of your site template, you might see something from mod_eb_events folder as well

Hi Tuan.

We don't have the old site anymore. Do you know where I would find said customization if the old site no longer exists?

I'm not sure where the folders are that you mentioned. I don't really have "folders" as this is a Joomla site. It's just articles, modules, etc.

Hello Rachael

That mean we would have to re-do the modification. Honestly, it might take us sometime (and normally, we would have to charge for doing the modification), so if you really need it, submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that I can have a dev working on the modification for you

Tuan
