Profile Synchronization

Is the synchronization between Events Booking and Easy Profile and/or JomSocial two-way?

It is one way integration only. Mean when users register for an event and have an existing Easy Profile data, the data from his Easy Profile will be used to fill-in registration form automatically

No, it only have one way synchronization at the moment (for all the integrated profile/social apps)

how much will it cost to have a two way integration with Easy Profile? so that both Event creators are able to display their events on an Easy Profile tab and also have registration history displayed for registrants. I feel that you all could make your events component a lot more appealing if such integration existed.

So basically, you want to have two tabs which display user's events and their registration history in Easy Profile profile?

That would cost you about 70$ for developing the two plugins

Honestly, at this time, I still want to focus improving the main product rather than integrating with third party extensions. Integrating with other third party extensions will be in later phase of development

That is exactly what we need. But we need to make sure the development does not affect future Event Booking component upgrades. We also need to make sure the Event registrations on the tab are ONLY accessible/viewed by the user not the public. User's events will be displayed to the public.

Now, if you want to focus on the component itself, how about creating an event search menu item or module so users can search events and display the user's available events? and a map pin-pointing the event locations?

=> Yes, it doesn't affect Events Booking. And I can confirm that it can only be seen by the user.

=> Honestly, it is not in my plan for the next release. So if it is really needed, put it on Features wishlish forum and I will come back to it in the future
