guest able to register was created by Tim Jorissen
Hi,
the guest who are visiting our site are met with a preview of our upcoming activities what should only be informational for them..
but they can also register for them through that link what is not the meaning of that.
i've set it up so that no one can register itself as new user on our joomla site. only be added by me. and when they login they have access to a totally different side of the website. where they have an oversight of the events they registered for and a calendar view of upcoming events --> the place where they can register...
in the configuration of the addon i've set Default access guest (to be able to view the calendar on their homepage) and def registration access is Registered. so in my eyes they should never be able to register. or am i looking at this in a wrong way..
if needed i have a Super User and Registered User account already created..
Kind Regards,
Tim

Hello Tim
Please edit the event, set Registration Access setting of that event to Registered. After that, check it again, the issue won't happen anymore
Default access you changed only affect new events. For existing events, you need to edit these events and change the setting directly
Regards,
Tuan

hey Tuan,
as you can already see in the provided image it's alerady set that way on an event that already existed and this doesn't work.
also when creating a new event with the options both in Registered it can still register as a guest from the home page..

That's strange to me. Could you please submit a support ticket:
1. Sending us super admin account of your site
2. Tell us what event we need to register from homepage of your site
We are going to check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted
Regards,
Tuan
