More than 1 Early Bird Discount Rate

Is there any way you can create a second early bird discount rate and dates please?
We are looking at introducing a second discount that is not as cheap as the early bird options but runs in exactly the same way.
I'm trying figure out the best way to do this and have a few ideas.
Ideally I wondered if there is way to use the current Early Bird settings but add commas like the group discount works.
What we are looking for is this:
Event takes place on 01/06/2017 at a price of $400
Current Early Bird runs until 31/04/2017 and offers a $100 discount for any booking - So price would be $300
We then want a second discount tier that kicks in on 01/05/2017 and runs until 15/05/2017 offering $50 discount - So price would be $350

Is this possible?

I first tried using the Late Fee option and rename it through Translation but with a negative amount but that doesn't show up
That seemed really close as it has dates that work automatically but it wouldn't deduct a negative amount from the starting price. It only appeared if the fee was a plus amount. It would be great if we could add Late Fee as -$50 and that deducted.

I'm also playing with the custom field options of applying a -1 figure then multiplying the Late Fee by that when the date comes in to effect but getting a little confused at that.

I have got working a custom field with a $50 discount amount but we have to remember to publish that on 01/05/2017 and remember to unpublish it on 16/05/2017 which isn't ideal

Hope this makes sense and if anyone has any good or better ideas I would love the feedback.

Don't know if different rates of Early Bird discounts might be something more people would use or not but we are looking at:

Early Bird
Last Week Discount
Full Price

The early bird works perfectly but we are getting very greedy and wanted more MORE MORE

Sorry but this is something not supported by Events Booking. You will need to customize the code if you want to have this feature available to use

How come we can't put a negative value in the Late Fee option as that would work great and hopefully be quite simple.

Is that a possibility?
Or is it possible to create a custom field that does a maths calculation using the Late Fee value amount to create a negative value?

=> The late fee mean the extra fee which registrants has to pay if they register later after certain date. With that design in mind, we don't allow negative value. If there are more customers need it, I will consider adding support for it in future releases of the extension

=> Unfortunately, it is not supported. This is something which you really need to prepare to customize the code to get it works in the way you want. I would say that in few years of Events Booking life, I haven't heard anyone request for this kind of feature

Multiple early bird discounts is something that I've need before (along with the ability to expire custom fields). The negative late fee would be a work around, but it would display oddly in the event details.

I've decided to go with the amazing Custom Field feature available in Event Booking and use the Fee Fields part to apply the discounts I need and WHEN i need.
I've realised I can use these instead of Early Bird and create 2 new discounts from the total cost this way.
1 as an Early Bird Discount amount that we can publish when events get listed - I can then unpublish that on the date it finishes and then publish our 2nd discount amount and unpublish that when the time comes. It gives me total control as to when the discount start and end so I am happy.

As James mentions, the ability to have our custom fields having expiry dates would be the perfect addition to this as you could define unlimited discounts for any events when needed.

I'd like to third the request for multiple early bird discounts ... we want super early bird as an example

so i was just thinking about changing the early bird discount % on a set date

example, event starts on June 1st
everyone that books until end of february gets super early bird discount of 20% but then on march 1st, i change that percentage to 10% until end of April ...

before i do this, wont that work? just manually changing the early bird discount rate rather than having to go into custom fields?

That's what we've been doing. We include text saying the discount will change on xyz date, and I make a Google Calendar entry to remind myself to do the change. A discount schedule (table format) would be nice.
