Event ordering by date not working

Hi when i set the menu item to order events by date ascending the order is incorrect - is it something to do with the d-m-Y format?

Nothing to do with date format. Maybe you have some events set to Featured and that's why it is displayed in wrong position. Try to edit an event in wrong position, make sure featured set to No

After that, check it again. It should be displayed in right order
