Quantity price calculation was created by Graeme Ferrero
I have a new installation of EB and think it's really good, but I seem to have a problem with the price calculation for multiple tickets. I have set up an event which allows an applicant to buy up to 8 tickets @ £15 each (Event: Ticket Types: Max Tickets per Booking =
. On the Individual Registration form the default amount shown for quantity 0 is £15, and increasing this to quantity 1 gives £30, etc. Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Also, if I offer a discount of 50% the total price is halved, but if the discount is £7.50 this only applies to the total sum, not the individual tickets.

Regarding the first question: make sure that the event price is set to 0. You can adjust the Price Text to something like "Tickets: £15 each" or just "£15" to override the free/£0 that could otherwise show up.
As for the second, I think the discounts in EB are only set up to apply to the subtotal and not change the displayed price for each ticket / fee field. You could insert a Message field letting people know that the discount (if applicable) will be applied to the final price.

Thanks - that works, but you do have to set the "Reduce Registration Process" to no, otherwise it bypasses the billing registration as it thinks it is a "free" event. It seems that this aspect of ticketing needs to be tidied up!
