Hello Joshua
Look like Events Booking doesn't support this option at the moment, sorry
So instead of creating a new layout, I guess the easiest way would be customizing one of existing layout. The extension supports template override, so the change won't be lost when you update to future releases of Events Booking
Regards,
Tuan

Using template overrides won't work. Template overrides affect every occurrence of the layout. I need different layouts for different categories, especially in language translation. E.g. in a category of classes you pay tuition, while in a category of plays you purchase tickets.

You could create a "switch" PHP script that could automatically include() the proper alternate layout file based on what the category id is.

Honestly, I didn't know that Joomla support that alternate layout feature, so Events Booking doesn't support it yet (we use our own MVC implement to speed up extensions development)
I will look at that feature. If it is really useful, I will implement support for it in version 2.15.0
Regards,
Tuan
