Can only edit my own events in front end interface was created by Hans Hermans
Hi Tuan,
We are using Events Booking for our cycling club. We are really pleased with your nice module. We add our clubsrides as events. This is done via the frontend-interface by more then one person. We discovered that it is only possible to see your own events via the frontend-interface. Is this by design, or is it possible to configure this?
If it is not possible i would like to file a request to add this feature to the module.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Hans Hermans

Hello Hans
See own events mean these events cannot be shown to public users? Could you please explain more details about the issue, it sounds strange to me

Hi Tuan,
No, I have added to the menu with menutype "Submit Event". Some of our members have rights to submit events via this option. It is also possible to get a list of all submitted events by pushing the "Cancel"-button. The problem is that the list only shows the events which have been submitted by the current user. This is inconvenient because we maintain this eventlist with more then one person. Is it possible to add an option which makes it possible to shown and edit events of other users then myself?
Kind regards,
Hans Hermans

Hi Hans
For this, code modification will be needed. Users from what group is allowed to see all events on that page?

Hi Tuan,
All users who have access to this menu-item ( Submit Events ). In our case I made a Group called 'Maintain events'. Therefor they have access to this menu-item and rights to submit events.
Kind regards

Hi Hans
That page is My Submitted Events which is using to show the events submitted by the current logged in users. Please get this file, unzip it, upload to administrator/components/com_eventbooking/model folder, then check it. It should work as expected. Also, please change permission so that users from this group have edit permission
Regards,
Tuan
