Event Sponsorship Listing - Custom Field Question was created by Mary Kinirons
We need to be able to add event sponsorship level availability in the ticket purchasing. The problem is, once they get to a certain level, the cost for some tickets are included in the sponsorship. This becomes an issue when I try to add custom fields, because by default the ticket prices are added based on registrant quantity. Here is an example.
A sponsor who sponsors at the $2,500 level gets 2 tickets to the event. If they register as QTY 2 attendees, then select $2,500 from the custom field check list, it will add $2,500 on top of the cost of the two tickets.
Is there a way around this? I thought about making special ticket levels, but I didn't see where I can make the 'ticket levels;' affect attendee quantity. For example if the buy a spcialized 2 preson ticket, it will only count as 1 attendee in the system.
Here is a link to the form I am trying to translate into the system: homesfl.org/2017site/images/HomesLuncheon2017_SponsorForm.pdf

Hello Bill
Maybe it will be easier for me to understand your requirement and find a solution for the problem if you can send me the link to registration form and explain how you want it to work

Tuan

I think I know what a good solution would be though if it could be done easily.
For ticket types, if you could make a way for someone to also define the number of registrants affiliated with a ticket type, that should solve the issue.
For example:
Ticket type for $1,500 Emerald City Sponsorship would include 1 registrant ticket.
$2,500 Yellow Brick Road Sponsorship would include 2 registrants against the count.
Then I would just make a custom field to list additional guest names.

What I would like is if someone were to pick say Yellow Brick Road Sponsorship for the luncheon, that the purchase of that sponsorship will count at 2 registrants against the capacity. Or if someone were to select 'foursome' on the golf event, it would count as 4.
So the ticket type screen in the back end should have a field where you can enter how many 'members' apply for that registration.
