edit own event was created by Tim Jorissen
hi there,

as i'm making some accounts able to make events. it seems they can't edit their own event in the front end?
in my global config it said 'not allowed (locked)'.. i don't want to grant them access to the back-end of the site
is there a way to get this overwritten?

greets

Tim

Hello Tim

Users need to belong to a group which has edit or edit own permission in Events Booking to be able to edit their own events

I guess there is something wrong with permission settings. You can submit a support ticket:

1. Sending us super admin account of your site

2. Tell me users from what groups you want to allow edit their own events

I will check and correct the settings for you

Regards,

Tuan

I am having a similar issue. We have set up a group event, but need the person who registered the group to edit their own (and see only their own) users registered. I used the documentation to add permission, but they see everyone for the event, not just theirs.

Hello Joe

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set config option Only show registrants of events owner to Yes

After that, check it again, it should solve your issue

I completed that, but now the drop down for events is empty. I also created a Test Event and registered for it, but still cannot see any events listed. If I change the menu link to view registration history, I see both events that.

Hello Joe

Maybe I mis-understand your requirement. Do you want to allow event creators/owners to edit their own events? Or allow them to manage registrants of their own events? Please let me know so that I can guide you

Maybe you should submit a support ticket sending me:

1. Super admin account
2. An event owner account
3. Explain exactly how you want it to work

I will then look at it and configure it for you

Regards,

Tuan
