Event Alias

Hi all,
I need to access the event-alias value and show in some e-mails and messages. I tried with tag [ALIAS], but it doesn't work.
Is there a tag for this or a way to create it?

I'd also like to see the alias to the admin event table (best in all events tables) and filter on it if's possible

I don't know why you need [ALIAS] tag but it is not supported at the moment. If you really need to use that tags in the email message, submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can help modify code to include that tags for you

Alias can be used for searching for event already but it is not being displayed yet. Maybe something I will add support for in the next release 2.13.3

I have hundreds of events with a very long title, even more than 150 characters, and some titles are very similar. We use a short code that allows us to identify the event.

In the email message we comunicate to our costumers that code instead of the long title to pay the event (for example some banks limit the causal of transfer field and a long title would not be allowed)

I put that code in the "alias" field and it's perfect for us bacause I can import it.

Another way, I suppose, would be to create a custom field, but in this case it would not be imported from CSV.

If the import custom field will be available in the future, I think that would be the best solution, and I can wait.

You can get this file, unzip it, upload to components/com_eventbooking/helper folder of your site, then you will be able to use [ALIAS] tag

Although it is a strange requirement (I guess only you need it), I decided to include this in the next release to help it easier for you to update

Thanks, I know it's a strange request, but it is the easiest way (for me) to manage offline registrations as we do right now with our old system. Maybe in the future I will not need this tag, but at this time is the best way.
