Recaptcha failure for group registration

I have EB installed and have been successfully using it for both individual and group events. Recently on group registration only, we began having errors when the 'I am not a robot' box is checked. The error message is "Cannot contact reCAPTCHA. Check your connection and try again." Viewing errors in the browser console shows a 500 error:
POST www.google.com/recaptcha/api2/reload?k=%...q7D2FUt1wL%20.%20%27 500 ()

This has been working well until now, and still works on individual registrations, so I don't think it's a configuration error on my end. It is failing only on group registrations for all events and all browsers. What can we do about this?

Hello Paul

The solution is updating to latest version of EB. This issue, somehow, causes by changes in Joomla recaptcha or Google recaptcha API

We fixed it few weeks ago. So just need to access to My Downloads menu item on our website, download latest version, upgrade it to your site

After that, it will work as expected
