Textarea help

This is the first time I am using Textarea and I cannot seem to have the display setting correct. No matter what I try the size of the box does not change. I have attached two images, the titles.

Try to increase rows and cols property of the field to see whether it works. If not, I am afraid of there is some css code in your site template causing the issue
