Event Booking maximum capacity

Hi,

I run into another issue because each day have a maximum capacity of 200 people, but I found only one field to set a maximum capacity.

400 I can't set because for one day there can't be 400. But 200 complete capacity is to less

Ok I could set the days field as quantity field and set it to

200
200

but what do I do with the both days radio? which I need for the fee calculation mentioned in the other thread?

Tag 1 14.10.2017 --> 200
Tag 2 15.10.2017 --> 200
Both days --> ???

Yes, that is a limitation with doing it this way
It should be possible to customize the code to force the both option to reduce the day 1 & day 2 quantities by one each... @Tuan would know best how difficult it would actually be to do. The lunar new year holiday might have him away for a while from the forum however.

If the conditional/ dependant field options had a way of evaluating the selected conditions as AND instead of just OR, then you wouldn't need the "both" option and could then have a discounted fee feild appear only when both days 1 AND 2 were selected.

@Tuan : is it possible to reconfigure the conditional fields feature to give the user the choice between AND / OR comparison when setting up the conditional field? I guess this situation might need both AND and OR conditions however. Any other suggestions?

I looked into the code and it will not be easy to do the changes.

Any new ideas?

I'm running at the moment without a capacity control and have now about 60 registrants. Still want to limit it to 200 per day.

With quantity custom field feature, each option has it own quantity limit, there is no way for the Both days option to know that it is related to First Date and Second Day option

So there is no way (or very difficult) to implement this feature in the core. So for something like this, if you really need it, I guess you will need to hire someone to customize the extension for you to support this feature. I think this customization will cost you about 40$

Yes. I think I can do that. However, is this the only custom field you need this option? I don't see a way to implement it so that you can do the same control for all other fields
