Installation failure mysql

I tried to install Events Booking on a joomla site (up to date) on my localhost with dBase named: pamdb1. Not succesfull

Error message : 1025 Error on rename of '.\pamdb1\#sql-3bb8_ee' to '.\pamdb1\#__eb_events' (errno: 13 "Permission denied") SQL=ALTER TABLE `#__eb_events` CHANGE `discount` `discount` DECIMAL( 10, 2 ) NULL DEFAULT '0'
Why it is going wrong here?

From the error message, I think the error happens because the mysql account you are using for your site is not a root account (or doesn't have change table structure permission)

Could you please change your Joomla site setting on localhost, use mysql root account for the site?

I have checked dbase user (root) en rights (all). That seems to be ok.
However if I look in the dbase the whole structure of Event Booking is installed but not complete. Still the same error message

Sorry Roel. I don't really have any clues why it happens. The error message above clearly state that there is a permission issue with the mysql account you are using

In this case, maybe you should try to setup your site to a live server, then try to install it again?

I have installed EB on another server. Now there are no problems its ok.

Thanks for the update, Roel. I know it is just something with permissions like that and won't happen on a real hosting server
