Newly registered joomla users was created by andrew Gill
Hi - When users want to book one of our courses, but haven't got a Joomla account on our system, I have it set to create an account. But the account that is created is "blocked" by default. Is this correct?? Under the Joomla users management, I have it set for users to receive an e-mail with links to activate their new Joomla account, but this is not happening if they create an account through Event Bookings, presumably because their Joomla account is blocked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy
Unless there is something wrong with your site, users should receive an activation email
You can submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and the link to the page. We will try to check to see what's wrong and get it sorted for you
Regards,
Tuan

I have a problem after the email has been sent to the user. The email was sent correctly ie Account Details for [web site]. The email contains a link to activate the newly created user. eg.
http://myserver/mysite/index.php/component/users/?task=registration.activate&token=884f973a3ad081a62df726ddf7dd5529
The page comes up with:
403
Access forbidden.
The Page you are looking for doesn't exist or an other error occurred.
Go back, or head over to the home page to choose a new direction.
Any ideas where I should be setting the permissions and to what?
Thanks
Andre

Hello Andre
It is because Users Registration is disabled on your site. Please go to Users -> Manage, click on Options button in the toolbar, set Allow Users Registration parameter to Yes
After that, check it again, it should work as expected
