Group registration: First name only?

I see that there have been some discussions around this ( link , link ), but there seems to be no answer to the question I have:

By default there is only the first name field present in the group registration form. How can I add the last name field, as well? My custom fields settings for last name say it should be shown in both Individual and Group registration forms, but this does not seem to be the issue here.

Hmm.... Make sure that [Fields Manager -> Last Name -> Display In] is set to [ALL], and it should work. It sounds like it might be set to [Both Individual and Group Registration BILLING Form] right now...

Another quick follow-up: What exactly happens to the info that I give into the system at this point? Group members do not show up as registrants, and I cannot seem to delete them from my test event. Or generate a list of participants... Is this a feature or a bug?

I guess, in Configuration -> General, you need to set "Include Group Members Records in Registrants Management" to YES.
