Using event ID in SEF url was created by Sebastian Hoffmann
Hello,
in the past we didn't use the event ID in the sef url but since we had a problem we use it.
And there is the problem: We distributed many links without the event ID. Is there a possibility to redirect from all old urls to the new urls with the id? That would be very helpfull!
Best regards

Hi Hoffmann
Unfortunately, there is not a way to do that in Events Booking. Exactly why you need to use Event ID ? There are two things help you not having to use Event ID in URLs:
1. eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/tools#tools-purge-urls
This help clearing the cached URLs which might link to old event
2. Make sure each of your event is using unique alias
Then you won't have to use Event ID in URL anymore
Regards,
Tuan
