Has anything changed with "ReCaptcha" ?

Hello team I wanted to ask if anything has been changed in the last version that could have broken the reCaptcha. What I see is that apparently ReCaptcha is not working anymore in the group registration.
I noticed that in case of a group registration, there is now an indicator to say that the page is being changed, but maybe this has caused ReCaptcha to stop working ?

I'm having issues with it as well. When a user checks the "I am not a Robot" box, it just spins and never validates... I've checked some of my other sites and their reCaptchas are still functional.

Could you please give us more information:

1. Does it only happens with Group Registration or happens with Individual Registration as well

2. Could you please check other pages on your site like contact form or Joomla users registration form to see whether recaptcha works properly?

No changes to Events Booking code recently related to re-captcha, so it must causes by something else

Hi there, I see that others have the same issue: also on mine the ReCaptcha continues to spin forever and never validates.

To respond to Tuan's questions:

1- it happens only on the 2-pages form. On the single-page form, as soon as you click the ReCaptcha, it validates OK.

2- I checked the contact form on my site and it validates OK. However, to be honest the contact form is a single-page not a double page.

At the moment I have removed ReCaptcha validation from Events Booking form via the configuration option, event if I know it is not recommended practice to do so and I want to put it back asap. I had to remove it since the site is live, and people were not able to complete registration.

We checked it on our local computer and it worked well. In this case, could you please help submitting a support ticket sending us super admin account of the site and the link to group registration page /

I can confirm that reCaptcha has stopped working for Group Registrations. It just spins....

Most of my users are not logged in but want to do group bookings.... I'm starting to get a deluge of support requests from frustrated users.

Currently using EB 2.11.2

As you can see several of us have their ReCaptcha just spinning now, not working anymore. I recently updated Joomla to 3.6.5 maybe this version does not work well with EB ReCaptcha ?

I can't provide access to the site now since I have removed the ReCaptcha validation at the moment, nevertheless I believe this requires an urgent fix.

I'm using Joomla 3.6.5 in Italian and E.B. 2.12.0

Same problem -- works on Individual but not group.

This is a temporary work-around while Tuan works on figuring out what is wrong...

I switched my CAPTCHA - reCAPTCHA plugin back to Version 1 (the old "enter these 2 words" style) and I can register groups again.
Go to [ Extensions -> Plugins -> CAPTCHA - reCAPTCHA] and despite the warnings select [Version -> 1.0].
