Hidden Fields Revealed When Radio Button Selected was created by chris
Hello,
I am running a website where I have both Payment Form and Membership Pro installed. My Client is currently wanting a feature so that when one radio button is selected from a list, that another set of options will appear.
We'd like the function to work like this: "Would you like a card sent? Yes No" When the user selects Yes, a new set of options will appear showing the different card designs available to select from.
Is this possible to do for both Payment Form and Membership Pro? If so how?
Thanks to anyone who can offer some assistance.

Looks like both products support Dependent / Conditional Custom Fields.
See the documentation for more information.
Membership Pro: membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/basic-...tional-custom-fields
Payment Form: joomservices.com/paymentformdoc/basic-se...tional-custom-fields

Thanks James
Yes, as James pointed out, custom fields dependency option in custom fields (supported in most of our extensions) can be used for this requirement. Read the doc, give it a try and let us know if you need more help
Regards,
Tuan

Thank you for your assistance with this so far.
It looks like I have made the changes I'm looking for in regards to the Membership Pro form and it is working.
However, on the form that I am building using Payment Form, it looks like the current software is different than the documentation. I looked everywhere to find the Depend on Field/Depend On Options for the fields I have created and I cant seem to see those settings anywhere.
Maybe I'm blind and they are just in a place where I am not looking
Thanks in advance if you can help me solve this last little issue.

Hi Chris
Look at your order history (from your domain), I see that you are using very old version of Payment Form (purchased from 2013) and this feature is not available
You would need to update to latest version of Payment Form to have it works as expected
Regards,
Tuan

Hello again.
That clears it all up. Thank you.
We are very interested in implementing this updated feature to our clients site, but we have one last small set of concerns.
If we update over a current installation of Payment Form will it delete our existing information, forms and payment information records? we dont want to wipe out the current information we have there.
Thank you for your assistance with this, and I hope this will work out for us!

Hello Chris
All your existing data will be kept. don't worry
However, you still should make a full backup of your site before running the update so that in case something goes wrong, you can roll back to earlier status
