?utf-8? & other strange characters - email subject was created by Lionel Charrier
Hi every body
I am using the latest EventBooking version on two web site using same Joomla version (Joomla! 3.6.4 Stable) and same Gantry template and hosted by the same hosting company.
On one of the web site, when a member booked an event, the subject of the email sent by the site are not properly formatted.
Exemple of a subject : =?utf-8?Q?Inscription_pour__:_Indon=C3=A9sie_(Java, _Bali, _C=C3=A9l=C3=A8b?= es) 2017 instead of Inscription pour : Indonésie (Java, Bali, Célèbes) 2017
The email body is also in french and all characters are properly formatted.
The second website does not have such issue.
Do you have any clue on what could be the reason ?
Kind Regards
Lionel

Hi Lionel
In Events Booking, we just use Joomla core Mail API for sending API and then, the mail is actually delivered by the mail server of your hosting provider
As you can see, it worked well on one site (and for other customers), so in this case, I think it might be a mail sever settings. I have no clue about it, so I guess you should contact your hosting provider and ask them about it
They will check their server and should be able to solve it
Regards,
Tuan
