Timezone on events was created by Russell Noble
Hi,
Joomla TZ is set to Sydney but we have events across multiple timezones. The events are entered in localtime (ie. an event at 10am is set to 10am regardless of which TZ the event is run in. Since daylight savings started users in regions which remained at GMT+10 are now seeing an error of 1 hour in their .ics files. The TZ of the server changes with DST to GMT+11.
I'm wondering if there is a way of designating the timezone of an individual event? The problem is simply if two events are create now, one in Brisbane (GMT+10) and one in Sydney (GMT+11) for 1/Nov at 10am they are infact at different times. Ideally we'd be able to set the TZ of the event.
Thanks,
Russell.

Hi Russell
Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to have event in different timezone. The extension always use the site timezone for the event date and time
We might add support for it in the future, but to be honest, it is something which I won't work on in very near future. It would have to be next year when I re-factor the whole extension to make it is compatible with Joomla 4 (it would be version 3.0.0 of Events Booking)
For now, I want to focus working on other features first
