Site disappears

I haven't used this extension for a while and today I tried to add an event.
Unfortunately as soon as I create an event and refresh my site it disappears and all I get is a blank screen with the start date of the event in the top left corner of the screen i.e. 24 Sep.
I can't update the extension as my subscription has expired but I don't want to pay again if I'm going to continue having issues.
Any help appreciated.

It causes by some changes in Joomla 3.6.0 API github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/11088 . I guess you are using version older than 2.8.1 and it causes the error

Please get latest version 2.10.1 for now, upgrade it to your site. After that, everything will work as expected

So do I need to pay again to download the latest version? Will this be an ongoing process i.e. paying again as changes are made?

Yes. You need to pay again to download latest version as your subscription was expired about 6 months ago. Purchase it now and you will get upgrade for one more year

Honestly, I don't know if there is more changes in Joomla API in the future as it is un-predictable. By policy, there should be no change causes break existing software like the change I mentioned, so that one like an accident change and in few years, I only see that accident one time

So if you purchase it now, I guess it will work well for few more years (you might have to purchase it again if you decide to update to Joomla 4 in the future, but as I said, it should be well for few more years)

If you don't want to purchase new version, you can send me the file router.php in components/com_eventbooking folder on your site. I will help modifying to compatible with the changes in Joomla before. But if Events Booking has important role on your site , you should update to latest version to use the improvements in new version
