I think this setting might be the default for events when you create them and not a global toggle for existing event. If you have existing events that this is still showing up on, you might have to go into each event and set Registration -> Disabled.

Your; right James. But shouldn't it be a global thing if it's setting under General.
In my opinion if you put something under General and disable it, it should be disabled on all events.
If you want it on some events, then just enable it on the specific event.
Now we have to enable it on alle our events that are already made (80+)..
Maybe something to think for a next release or future.

Hi
That's Default Registration Type, so it only applied for new events as James suggested. In your case, maybe instead of changing it manually, you can run an SQL command
UPDATE #__eb_events SET registration_type = 3
(Of course you will need to replace #__ with the actual table prefix on your site)
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks Tuan.
I have runned the SQL and everything is disabled now.
I thought it worked the same way as enable/disable the Social media buttons.
Those you can switch on or off whenever you want to show or not show them on all events.

Actually, that config option was used for different purpose. It auto-select the submit event form with that default value while submitting event but still allow changing it if needed
Anyway, the most important thing is that the we have solution for your problem now, so it's time to move to the next step
