Search - Show City

Hi,
I have a question, if it's possible to add the Option "Show City" like "Show Location" to the Modul "Search Events"

I know it's an old thread but I think this question is still relevant.

The search option is very poor with this component and I'm wondering if we could improve this in a near future.

At least, when you search in a category, if we could adjust the location available into the selected category, that will be already a great improvement

At the moment, I don't have plan for this improvement. There are other features which I want to focus working on first, so for this one, we will have to leave it to future

I know the table city is into the database,

I'm trying to figure out your code right now to patch it quickly manually but I wanna know if this is going to be a feature soon.

To tell you the truth, when you have hundred of element, searching by emplacement is a real mess

I just notice you do not use the city anymore but it's still into the database.

It suck because now, after my new module, I realize all the row are empty (NULL).

This is not good lol /sob

We don't use City anymore. So if you need that, I'm afraid of you will have to do some customization to the code:

- Maybe publish the module Events Booking - Events By City so that the syste allows you to enter City data for each location
- Then customize search module, add a dropdown show available city for searching. The name of that dropdown input should be filter_city so that the system will search for events from that city when the search button processed
