Is there a way to allocate a Joomla user to be the host/organizer of an event so they get notified when a booking is made?

Hi Mark

You can edit the event, set Created By of that event to the user you want (should be a registered user) and when someone registers for an event, that user will be notified

A feature request really. .....

For one customer I have a number of users in a team that manage the registrations for a category of events (and only this category). I've configured EB so that users(organisers) can only view their own events in the front end. The problem is that once I've set the Created by information (or a member of the team create their own event) then only this individual can see it in the front end - not the rest of the team.

It would be great to have a event field where a Joomla user group could be selected as the "organisers" of the event - which then could be used to determine whether this group could manage the event and registrations in the front end.

I might consider supporting it in the future. However, for now, I will leave it as how it is and focus working on other important features first
