Website not working after update joomla 3.6

Hello,

On Tuesday joomla 3.6 was released.
But after upgrading, I get some errors on my website. After spending hours in different (extensions) settings, these are my results:

1. I use Yootheme avion template and the demo of this template works perfect on joomla 3.6 (so whiteout any third party apps)
2. The combination Yootheme template, Joomla 3.6 and EB 2.8. Generates (4 times) "JQuery is not defined" on files, these are located in the template map - Yootheme avion section.
3. (The most important one) After deleting event booking, my website works fine.

The big question is how can I solve this problem?

After replacing your new router.php file, my site works perfect :laugh: (see this )
What was the problem in that file?

Ps. for me now time te sleep, after puzzeling many hours until 4:00 am.

Sorry Klaas for the issue. This is now fixed in 2.8.1 as well, so you don't have to worry about it when updating to future releases of EB

Just updated event booking to version 2.8.1 and joomla to version 3.6.

It runs perfect so case closed. :silly:

Just wanted to let you know I had a similar experience - I updated Joomla today to 3.6.0 and immediately lost the frontend of my site - the backend was still accessible, but the frontend was just a blank white screen, no errors displayed. After a very panicked hour and a half troubleshooting and job logged at my host, I saw an error log that linked it to Event Booking, so I came here and found the latest EB update to ver 2.8.1, uploaded it and instantly got my site back!
You may wish to somehow let everyone know that EB 2.8.1 is a critical update for Joomla 3.6.0 compatibility !
