Custom Fee Field for Event Category

Hello,

I need to have a custom fee field specific for one event category. This category has one single event that happens daily. The problem that I am facing is that I need to associate the custom field to every instance of the event.

I don't know if I am missing something or doing something wrong.

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set the config option "Assign Custom Fields to Category instead of to Event" to Yes

After that, you can assign custom field to category instead of to event and it will solve your issue

This no longer allows you to assign custom fields to events however, right? I still haven't tried this on my site because it's crucial that I have custom fields on my events, and can't risk shutting down all my custom fields that are already running...

Yes. If you set that config option to Yes, you won't be allowed to assign custom fields to events anymore. Something we will need to improve in the future
