Our event creators would like to customise the emails for their events - in particular to issue different offline payment instructions for different categories of event, or events organised by specific people (I suppose we could set up sub-categories for each event administrator). Point is: the back-end event editor allows cusomised emails but the frontend editor does not display this option. Is there some configuration switch to turn this feature on?

Hi Andrew

Unfortunately, the frontend event submission form doesn't have all the fields like backend (the backend form is very complicated, containing many fields and we don't want to make all of these fields available in the frontend for normal users)

If you really need to have these options, I am afraid of some customization to the code will be needed

Tuan

As an alternative - possibly a future enhancement - might it be possible to specify these emails at a category level - ie have different "standard" emails per category. At present it is either universal or event-specific. We don't want event authors going into the backend, but equally we want the response to be tailored at least to the category level. What do you think?
