When I buy an online ticket for an event in our local concert hall, the layout of the printable ticket shows three parts: on the left: the event, ticket, seating and pricing details, and a bar code that is scanned at the entrance, the event poster; on the right the event poster; and on the bottom the terms and conditions of the event, and other useful general information.
Event details are:

Special guest
Location info, e.g. Main hall, studio, ...
Opening time of the doors:
Starting time of the show:
Local organizer
Bought by: <Firstname> <Lastname>
Buying reference:
Bought in presale or not
Seating info
Price info
Barcode
Barcode in readable figures
Ticket number: 1 of n
This is managed by a product called exit ticketing system (
