crash if large amount of events + google map

I face issues when I have a large amount of events (approx. 200) and at the same time activate the google map location (only 3 locations).

There are 3 parent events and about 200 childs. The timeline works perfectly but as soon as I activate the google map module the page can't load and runs into a server timeout.


Server message:

"HTTP Error 504: Gateway Timeout
The server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, did not receive a timely response from the upstream server it accessed in attempting to complete the request. "


It woks when I reduce the amount of published events to 3 or de-activate the map module!

Please advice me how I can make it work!

Please turn of google map plugin for now. I will check the code of the plugin to see whether it could be optimized. Could you please give me about 2 days to work on this optimization?
