Date field format (mask)

How I could put Input mask on date custom field type?

In EB configuration, I have : "d-m-Y"

I will like to show in the field : "jj-mm-aaaa"
(in english : dd-mm-yyyy)

I already have the right value in EB configuration panel... I want to see a format mask in the textbox ...

For the phone number custom field, I set "(999) 999-9999" in Place holder field.
For zip code custom field, I set "placeholder='X9X 9X9' in Extra Field (other way to do it)...

I tried in Extra field " placeholder='JJ-MM-AAAA' " but does'nt work...
