How to make waiting list registrants pay by paypal

Hi!

We have a waiting list with a couple of kids waiting for us to open a new clinic. They have added all their details and their state is "offline payment". Now I want to invite them to the right event (a clinic).

It would be easy to move them in backend from the waiting list to the clinic. But they must pay. We only use Paypal and no offline payments. How can I make them pay through Paypal before I move them? Or can the user somehow access their details and get transfered to Paypal?

Or is the solution to mail them the link to the registration page for the clinic (that their are waiting for) and tell them to make a new registration since we got some new places - and then remove them from the waiting list in backend?

Right now, we don't have a way to allow them to make payment, unfortunately. So the only way is that they will have to send payment to your PayPal account manually, then you change the status from Waiting List to Paid

I know this is one of the limitation of the extension but haven't got a chance to work on it yet because I want to focus working on other features which can be used by most customers

OK, I will send a reminder manually to the persons on the waiting list. No problem.

I hope this feature will be implemented in the future but it's no big deal...

I'd also love to see this feature implemented. It's definitely something we want to have, so people don't have to enter all of their information all over again to re-register.

Yes, Because it's kind of useless to enter ALL information when you register on the waitinig list - if you must enter them again when you make a real registration.

It would be great if one could customize what details a user must add for the waiting list (maybe name, email, name of clinic - would be enough).

But the best solution would be if the user could use the details from the waiting list when the register by Paypal.

We will have it. However, with my current working plan, I am afraid of you will have to wait us for 2 months to see this feature implemented into the system. Maybe sooner, but I could not promise exactly the time

if you're going implementing this, then this is how we work with our waiting list...
1) People sign up to the waiting list
2) If a space becomes available, we contact all of the waiting list, explaining that a place is available. We currently do this via text preferably, but email is also ok.
3) The remaining place if taken on a first come, first served basis.

Ideally, with a new waiting list -> registered conversion process, we could simply select an event, and choose notify waiting list of space available. The email/text (via acySMS integration) would contain a link to the completion page, which has all of the previously entered details. The customer then just needs to enter payment details, and the place is booked.
