event image

In the next release can we get the event image upload to use the image manger? We use the same images over and over. It would be nice to just select the image that is already uploaded. And by using the image manager you can upload a new image if needed.

The downside of using this approach is that the image could not be resized. I most be honest that I don't use Media Manager in Joomla, but I think Joomla Media Manager doesn't allow resizing image ?

I was thinking more of the editor like JCE, If the editor or media manager is not a good idea then how about being able to select previously uploaded images using the same upload method as it is now?

If by chance using existing images is implemented please consider NOT having the image on server deleted if you remove/change that events image as all other events that used the image will no longer be linked.

This situation currently happens with the new ability to attach multiple attachments from server. Which leads to having to manually re-upload the document for other events that used it, of course it must be the exact same name.

Just a thought.
